      Huh. The Texaco star logo bears a remarkable resemblance to USAF insignia.

      It’s a die-cast model that was sitting on top of a box in a workshop entrance. Late-afternoon sunlight made it beautiful. The original photo looks much better than the scan that appears here.

      Great pic Jonathan! Ironically, this weekend I helped my son build his first model car, which basically consisted of him playing with the rubber tires while I assembled the pieces, but fun nonetheless.
