Some Chicago Boyz know each other from student days at the University of Chicago. Others are Chicago boys in spirit. The blog name is also intended as a good-humored gesture of admiration for distinguished Chicago boys including those pictured above.

Tyouth, you remain one of the greatest dongs on the internet. It would not surprise me to learn that you feasted upon Filet Migdong every day of the week.

Er, Chris, don't want to make to big a deal out of this but your method of expressing yourself suggests that you might be in need of a little mental check-up. Mind you, I'm not saying you're you're a wack job or a pervert but still.... At the very least, consider the uselessness, rudeness, and alienating nature of your comment. If you don't see it maybe you will in time if you're young. If you're not young, consider getting counsel.

Cheers.

I think David is right. The Bushitler ads were handled that way so that MoveOn could act as if they had nothing to do with it while damning the ads with faint praise. That way they could have their cake and eat it too. That is the demmie way, after all. Of course it is also the republican way as well, but just not so often lately.

A minor point - the Bush/Hitler ads were selected from among other submissions for inclusion with finalists to be publicly displayed and judged for the contest. While this may not constitute "endorsment", it's clear evidence the management of MoveOn considered them as qualified as any other ad submitted to win, with the announced intention of giving the winning ad wide public exposure.

I don't see Citizen Keith's point as invalidating a conclusion MoveOn was prepared to fund a campaign comparing Bush to Hitler prior to the public revulsion at such an ad.
