    At Least Someone Has Seen Their Career Flourish

    I have heard that President Obama never held a job in his life for longer than three years.

    Is this accurate? Dunno. Can’t seem to find anything about it online.

    But, if true, then the big guy just passed a milestone. It has been three years and one week since he was sworn in as POTUS.

      Didn’t he collect a U.S. Senate paycheck from Jan 2005 through Dec 2008?

      That is a good point, Robert. He was a Senator from January 3, 2005 until he resigned on November 13, 2008.

      Yes, it is a depressingly fair point, Robert. If the statement with which you take issue had been “did a job” (rather than “held”),then the claim would be inarguable.

      I understand that while in the Senate, he officially contributed one spoken word at each of his attendances: “Present”.

      I remember reading that he had never participated in a debate.

      Which once again begs the question, why did the DNC run this cat, with so many blank pages in the bio? I’m still baffled/horrified by the whole fiasco.
