The premier iconographer of the 60′s is still around and still making beautiful art.

    Icon Of The Flower Children

I remember this art so very clearly. Both my parents were true art fans. My father sketched and did cameos – good ones! – and my mother oil painted – not so good, but she got much better later in life. I was painting with oils and doing charcoals before I was ten. My brother and I were always dragged along to museums, hating it usually, but both of us developed a deep love and appreciation for art (and an interest in archeological artifacts to boot).

    One Response to “Peter Max”

The flower child icon is cool. I remember if from childhood. It was on stickers. Interesting how much that “hippie” look seems to just be a brightly colored version of Art Nouveau organicism.
