I’ve occasionally had the same problem with my fanfics. That’s one of the reasons that posting on a writer’s email list like the FFML for feedback when I do write has always seemed A Good Thing. For what it’s worth I do read and enjoy your posts. It’s just that I tend to lurk lest I end up writing something that’s a little *too* inane. ^_~

  2. I was working away when suddenly a thought burst into my space. I looked around but saw no holes in my humble abode. It seemed to come out of the either it did. While it was well reasoned, it buzzed around like a fly. So I raised my mouse only slightly and waited perfectly still. It settled down just a bit to the left of my raised mouse. Wham! I slammed my mouse down on top of it and ended up here.

    Hey, I’ve been here before!

  3. Bloging is sort of like prayer. Except there is never a question about which blog gets answered

  4. Ginny,

I read and reflected upon your post, but wouldn’t have posted this based on your observation alone if doing so didn’t seem a confirmation of sorts.

For what it’s worth, I read your posts much more often than I reply, and reply much less than I would if I had more time to do so in a measured and appropriate manner. Keep up the good work!

  5. Well, Scott, I really appreciate this. Of course, I did have a sneaking suspicion that we exist. But confirmation is alays nice.

  6. Dear Sir,
    Your astonishment’s odd
    I’m always in the quad.
    And that’s why the tree
    Continues to be
    Yours faithfully, God.

Sorry Ginny about the “Sir” but “Madam” or “Sir or Madam” wouldn’t have worked.

  7. “if no one comments is our post unread? If posted and not read, does it exist? Do we?”

d….d Chicago types, thinking too much. Again.
