*Some Chicago Boyz know each other from student days at the University of Chicago. Others are Chicago boys in spirit. The blog name is also intended as a good-humored gesture of admiration for distinguished Chicago boys including those pictured above (we claim no affiliation), and others who helped to liberalize Latin American economies.

Better than half of what i saw yesterday on International Armory Show.

    Sounds like a disappointing show!

    Let’s see…
a full-size steel replica of a dog with plastic IV tube attached to its bottom and another end- to the bucket. Two paintings - one of 7 little blue circles on uneven yellow background and another of brownish-red vertical stripes on same yellow. A 20′-long enlarged copy of a sword (or was it shiv?), in bronze and some other copper alloy, lying on the floor. A 1000 tiny photographs framed into one artifact, depicting kissing couples.

Look at the exhibitors’ list and then click randomly. I wonder if you’ll find something you’d want to take home.

I did found a few I liked. Maybe I’ll post them..some time in the future if I decide to blog again. In the new place.
