The Heart observation probably makes sense, as I never really dug them either. I agree with you 100% about Case. She's got an amazing voice, but her original stuff never did it for me. For my twang-infused lady singer needs, I've always been keen on Jenny Lewis of <a href="http://www.myspace.com/rilokiley" rel="nofollow">Rilo Kiley</a> fame. Her solo work with the Watson Twins was <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Thz2SOKkGI" rel="nofollow">pretty great</a>, and they're not too bad <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAPKzJXK_hE" rel="nofollow">with the 'baby'</a>, neither...
