The real point of all the demands for socialized medicine aren’t about revamping Social Security and its programs, they’re about denying people the right to seek out and pay money for better health coverage than the already available public programs offer. The thing the leftists refuse to understand is that the government monopolies they are struggling to implement will be no more efficient or inclined toward charitable behavior than private industry monopolies have ever been. Leftists are universally a people who care only about words and completely ignore actions, which is why every socialist state always attaches a string of words like “people’s,” “democracy,” “republic,” and “free” to everything they do… as long as they keep mouthing the words, their core demographic will accept anything they do, even that which is directly contrary to what they are saying.

That is a great quote! As someone who works in the healthcare field, its scares the crap out of me about this illuminati socialist healthcare system. People think that healthcare will be free have no clue what is instore for them. Imagine all the top doctors that suddenly quite, because they don’t want to go through all the red tape to save someone’s life or be limited on how much they can make. A lot of the young top talent will not become doctors because of the enforced ceiling that will be imposed by this healthcare system. Not good for you, not good for me.

Liberals just want to run people’s lives for them. Most people still don’t want that, but all societies change with time.

And socialized health care is not free, and I don’t even mean that you will pay for it in taxes. I come from the Soviet Union, and if you wanted to get decent treatment in the free health care system, you had to pay every step of the way. You want the nurse at the hospital to give you injections and do everyting else she is supposed to do? Pay her. Want the doctor to actually treat you? Pay him. Want the janitor to wash the floor in your ward? Pay her. Want the ambulance crew to actually do something when (or rather if) they come? Pay them, or all they will do is take your body to the morgue. That’s how it was, and that’s how it still is in Ukraine, where I come from, so many years after the end of the USSR. It still has the Soviet free health care system, and it’s not pretty at all.
