Respect you for doing so. I assume writers of speeches and ghost writers say with skill what is thought by the "author." I may be wrong; certainly, Weathermen are unlikely to feel gratitude. It was pretty unreadable from its narcissistic navel gazing, but it doesn't take much of it see his poor character, mainly complete ingratitude to those who raised him.
