If you want to, go on over to the IAG website (www.independentauthorsguild.com ) and check out the yahoo discussion group - there's a lot of aggregate wisdom there from other writers trying to do the same kind of thing with their books. One discouraging thing about review copies, though - you're doing great if you get one review posted or published for every four copies sent out. I found it to be true with all of my book projects, and the other IAG members concur. And it's not just sending them out blind, with a press kit. This includes sending them out to people who have specifically offered to review, and asked for a copy. All righty then – good luck with that viral campaign.
