I agree that scaring the moose off with rocks was quite possible the most responsible thing to do.

When my cousin was newly stationed to Alaska he blundered into a moose in his drive way. The moose started an bolted into his garage, scrabbled about wrecking everything before darting out and down the street. It’s easy to see how a moose on the school grounds could have be startled and bolted into a building or hallway.

Good point on the sloppiness of the left leaning media. MSM is simply too lazy to fact check or to provide context to a story.

A moose might not be a really good thing to have in a middle school yard. The mom moose might be nearby. Scaring the thing off may have been the best thing for it. Unfortunately, it just didn’t see the fence and smacked it head on. (actually, this sounds a bit like Obama’s foreign policy – let Ortega and Chavez throw rocks at you until you go running away.)
