Some Chicago Boyz know each other from student days at the University of Chicago. Others are Chicago boys in spirit. The blog name is also intended as a good-humored gesture of admiration for distinguished Chicago School economists and fellow travelers.

Cool photo, once I figured out that the flag wasn’t one of these, which would have been a bit alarming, notwithstanding the occasional Nisshōki one sees at Wrigley Field in honor of Kosuke Fukudome.
So, uh, what’s he doing with a Shell logo?
I think Shell was one of the sponsors for the Air and Water show….Plus, you know, they’re part of our empire of Oil (please ignore their Anglo-Dutch origins).
