		<description>One of the true greats in human history. I agree with Shannon&#039;s point in his post that when we celebrate people like him rather than some celebrity or political poser, we will be a better society. 

It remains utterly frightening that a few extremists could spread poorly argued falsehoods so successfully that even mainstream scientists and media figures with normally solid backgrounds would give an open forum to them. How many millions have died because of the lies told about Borlaug&#039;s remarkable efforts and achievements?</description>
