Zooey Deschanel has a kind of classic Thirties, Old Hollywood, comedic actress vibe – that is still, somehow, very modern….
This is a sweet video and song.

Never heard of either, but the video and the tune are nice. The guy is familiar, and you’re right about Ms. Deschanel.

It is nice, isn’t it? One of the other CB contributors sent me the link. The song is by She and Him, I think, which includes Zooey Deschanel. The actor is in the movie she talks about at the beginning of the clip.

PS: One of the great things about the webby age is the way that you can find, and self-program, your own musical world. Hard on radio stations and the like, but very nice for the individual. I am always amazed at the talent that exists out there.

Joseph Gordon-Leavitt was the guy in Ten Things I Hate About You who wanted to date a girl whose father wouldn’t let her or her sister date. He enlisted the help of Heath Ledger, the school’s bad boy, to help him.
