The Muffs On Tour

I have repeatedly and loudly praised the tremendously great rock band The Muffs. (Most recently here.)

I will put my cards on the table, so you can assess my objectivity when I talk about the Muffs: The Muffs restored my faith in rock music and I love the Muffs with the blazing intensity of a thousand suns.

I purchased and have repeatedly listened to their new album, Really, Really Happy. I am really, really happy to be able to report that it is really, really good. So go buy it. No. Buy two, and give one away as a gift.

I hope to provide you all with a lengthier, more discursive, even philosophical post about the incredible greatness of the Muffs and their key place in the history of modern popular music. But for now, alas, the press of other obligations means that I cannot bless you with these musings today.

The Muffs are touring, too. Early reports are that they are kicking ass live. So go see them. Click on the rest of this message for a list of upcoming shows.
