  2. That’s it. They get tire repair business because they are honest, fast and inexpensive. I’m guessing tire repairs bring in other repair business which is where they actually make money. It’s a good business model.

    In Irving,TX, tire repair is considered too unsightly to be carried out except behind closed doors or a high wall, thus nothing here except the big chains. I’ve always considered that the sight of a reasonable amount of disorder was a sure sign of a thriving community.

    I’ve found a good tire store not too far away for my very infrequent needs. If I could just find a good mechanic.
