This is the flag flown by our great ally, Canada, in two world wars, in Korea, and the early Cold War.
God bless Canada. May its future be as great as its past.
Obviously, the evil Canadians are trying to steal our thunder by putting Canada day right before the 4th of July!

When did Canada adopt the Maple leaf? I think it was in the mid 60s. Canada has always been such a good neighbor we have regrettably taken it for granted.
The current flag came was introduced in 1965. It was part of Trudeau’s effort to create a post-British Canadian identity. The current flag was an intentional break with the past.
