Has anyone else noticed that light fixtures no longer will accept the standard incandescent fixture fittings ? I was replacing a fixture in the bathroom today and noted that the fixture accepts only the new CFL bulbs.
I thought older sockets wouldn’t always accept CFLs because the new bulbs have a wider base. Didn’t know there was a problem the other way.
