Some Chicago Boyz know each other from student days at the University of Chicago. Others are Chicago boys in spirit. The blog name is also intended as a good-humored gesture of admiration for distinguished Chicago School economists and fellow travelers.

What is the URL for this? Some Afghan friends would really appreciate the link.

Where’s Elvis?
Most of the Bollywood offerings that I’ve come across always remind me of 1960’s American TV for some reason. When this clip started, I first thought I was watching a Man From U.N.C.L.E. episode. It became apparent that I was mistaken only because the dance number just kept going and Napoleon Solo didn’t wander in.

I couldnĀ“t stop watching it.
Who were those masked men?
BTW, this clip is used in the movie Ghost World. Thora Birch’s character rocks out to a snippet of it in the beginning, and the song is used over the end credits. The DVD has the full clip as a bonus feature.
