I presume you are going to chop all that coarsely, and then let it marinate all together for a while. That’s how I’d do it.

IIRC, I chopped the onions, garlic and jalapenos first, added salt, then added the softer tomatoes and cilantro and pulsed the machine for just a few more seconds. The result was excellent, but it got stale quickly so you should prepare it immediately before you eat it.

Nice. I’ve been thinking about making salsa since I like it fresh. Good tip.

When y’all are in Chicago we can go over to my favorite Mexican place, El Presidente. Open 24/7/365, inexpensive, reliable, good. The Salsa is just chopped up tomatoes with some jalapeno, garlic, onion and maybe some seasoning. Very simple, not too spicy, very good. Your picture reminded me of it.

Let’s try that link to El Presidente again.

I’ll take you up on that offer Lex, looks like my kind of place. Though I may not be in Chicago for a while. U of Chicago Law said no. So I won’t be a Chicagoboy in fact, I’ll have to remain a Chicagoboy in spirit.
