Some Chicago Boyz know each other from student days at the University of Chicago. Others are Chicago boys in spirit. The blog name is also intended as a good-humored gesture of admiration for distinguished Chicago School economists and fellow travelers.

Jonathan,
Truly, you have captured the post-modern dualistic angst of our deconstructivist culture.
p.s.; Faceless says “Could someone please turn down that air-conditioner?”
Noel, this is a form of dualism that many of us can appreciate.
OK, how about some technical details. Camera(s)used, digital, analog, scanning, photo software…
Answers:
1) The details don’t matter.
2) I photoshopped most of the images out of the picture of Ralf’s dog.
3) Film. One P&S, one old rangefinder (main camera), a disposable for a couple of the pics. I scan the negs and edit in PS Elements 2.0. That’s it.
Dumb question : how do you scan negs ?
Easily, using either a flatbed scanner with a film adapter or a scanner designed especially for film.
Jonathan,
Dually noted.
ps: Did I say ‘you have captured the post-modern dualistic angst of our deconstructivist culture’?
I meant to say that you have cultured the deconstructivist angst of our post-modern dualistic capture.
Sorry for any confusion.
