A head-on external view of the cockpit of a Boeing B-52B Stratofortress bomber on static display under a broken streetlight. (Jonathan Gewirtz)

  1. I have a friend in Idaho with apparently a very understanding wife.

He apparently got the bug to buy a scrapped 737 – cut the from 15′ or so of the fuselage – and mount the cockpit in his front yard.

  2. Considering that Jonathan has posts at Cherry Creek Reservoir, (Denver) and Lookout Mountain (Golden) within a day of this post, my guess is that this is at the Aviation and Space museum at the old Lowry Air Force Base in Denver Colorado.
