Some Chicago Boyz know each other from student days at the University of Chicago. Others are Chicago boys in spirit. The blog name is also intended as a good-humored gesture of admiration for distinguished Chicago School economists and fellow travelers.

Thanks, Helen. And the same to you and your family.
Likewise. Now, I am off to the desert for the holiday with children and grandchildren.
Thanks, Helen!
Thanks, Helen – now, off to brew up some cranberry-pineapple-pepper chutney for tomorrow…
Cranberry-pineapple-pepper chutney? That sounds awesome. Recipe?
We’re still perfecting it. A local Teeny Bidness was selling it … and it was awesome but expensive, so we are trying to replicate the recipe, working off a Martha Steward recipe with roughly the same ingredients. Cranberries, pineapple, orange juice, ginger, cilantro and sugar … and cayenne pepper pods, steeped in the goodness. Next batch – no garlic.
Happy Thanksgiving to you too Helen, and all the posters & commentators of the Chigagoboyz
So once in every year we throng
Upon a day apart,
To praise the Lord with feast and song
In thankfulness of heart.
~Arthur Guiterman
And a Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
