I’ll double his tip if he can cover Chuck Mangione
I bet his playing was worth dropping some money in his tip jar.
Chamber of Commerce material, Jon, I can see it in a promo. brochure.
I don’t remember his playing but he looked good. OTOH the guy with the guitar down the block was great to listen to but I barely remember what he looked like.
Roaming musicians in Madrid.
Mangione … my go-to instrumentalist when looking for a sound-track for a produced radio-spot back in the day when I used to have to do them for AFRTS. Any of his pieces from the library would do. A 60 or 30-second clip for the background music would do – infinitely variable, infinitely … good-sounding.
Sgt Mom, that’s great. Now that I think about it, there’s a certain familiarity to Chuck Mangione’s music that must have come from hearing him on radio and TV drops when I was young.
Agree on Chuck Mangione. Great musician.
