Some Chicago Boyz know each other from student days at the University of Chicago. Others are Chicago boys in spirit. The blog name is also intended as a good-humored gesture of admiration for distinguished Chicago School economists and fellow travelers.

I don’t ssee the new individualist you describe. New technology has changed the political and economic landscape but Americans are still depended on government as more than ever, and government still exerts more control of individuals than anytime in its history.
