The Persephone cat already has Benji’s number, down to a couple of decimal points. She bullies him … unless it comes to the enormous fresh cow leg bone that we got for him at today’s trip up to Granzins… Yeah, no one takes that bone from Benji…

My ten-pound cat and ten-pound dog would do that only on the coldest winter nights, back to back. The cat was the boss although the dog didn’t let him push her around. They’d roll around play fighting in the yard and startle passers-by.
