  • IBD: “Child Alien Crisis Obama’s Fault, But GOP Won’t Pounce”

Posted by Jonathan on June 10th, 2014 (All posts by )

The more than 90,000 children who crossed the Mexican border into the U.S. and were apprehended this year, and the more than 140,000 expected next year, could and should turn the immigration issue into a GOP weapon against Democrats.

Instead of sending them back home to their parents, Attorney General Eric Holder made it a priority to hire taxpayer-funded lawyers for them. Why don’t we hear Cantor, Ryan and other GOP leaders shout that Democrats are exploiting children to further their political agenda?

The main thing the Republicans have going for them is that the Democrats are worse.

Not much worse on immigration. Republicans are on a suicide mission when they support amnesty.

I wish I was in Upton’s district so I could vote against him on the light bulb ban.

If there is a difference, it is becoming less and less apparent. Abbott and Costello were different. Both were dysfunctional, but they were different. We are ruled over by malicious clowns.

The Chamber of Commerce and National Association of Manufacturer’s are the main pressure groups driving the GOP toward amnesty. It is only to benefit certain businesses.

The amnesty of 1986 and the end of the Bracero program caused the mess we now have. Obama’s refusal to enforce our border security has just made it worse. The Border Patrol is overwhelmed. The solution is to supplement the Border Patrol with the National Guard. But that requires State – Federal cooperation. With Obama, it’s not going to happen.

All these children are going to both Democrat this November. No ID checks allowed.

If illegal alien children can vote this November (when properly aided by Democrat poll watchers), why can’t my children vote. They can read and speak English because they were born in the USA and I insist on helping them fill out their ballots).

I predict the November 2014 election will be a Democrat liberal landslide. Lots of 100% precincts.
