    Comment spammers, that is. I installed MT-Blacklist and so far it seems to work. This particular solution, like any response to a threat in an arms race, is likely to be only temporary. However, it’s better than doing nothing and then wasting a lot of time deleting garbage.

      The Mint uses MT-blacklist, and we love it. As far as I can tell, and that’s about the last six months, the master list is frequently updated and it’s painless to use.

      Good choice.

      I threw the towel long ago. Deleting spam from the few archived posts with open comments sections consumed what little blogging time I had.
