Some Chicago Boyz know each other from student days at the University of Chicago. Others are Chicago boys in spirit. The blog name is also intended as a good-humored gesture of admiration for distinguished Chicago School economists and fellow travelers.

Lots of pastel colors in your neck of the woods, to be sure, and it even looks good with a that sunshine. Turquoise doesn’t go all that well with our rain weather, though, so you have a point with the taste thing. ;)
