Some Chicago Boyz know each other from student days at the University of Chicago. Others are Chicago boys in spirit. The blog name is also intended as a good-humored gesture of admiration for distinguished Chicago School economists and fellow travelers.

A freind who is his naval squadron’s safety officer says an overwhelming number of the cockpit videos have the last words as “hey, watch this!”
Yeah, I definitely don’t have the stomach to do that. I’ll stay on the ground.

For those of us on the ground, the equivalent famous last words are “Hold my beer.”
I’m debating with myself – should I send a link to this to a friend whose son is an amateur pilot?
Maybe not.
