It’s not quite a cold and clinical as it sounds, on account of the individual stories told by the participants.
Some Chicago Boyz know each other from student days at the University of Chicago. Others are Chicago boys in spirit. The blog name is also intended as a good-humored gesture of admiration for distinguished Chicago School economists and fellow travelers.

If you’re feeling depressed about the state of education, look at this link. It is a bunch of students in Wisconsin, now in high school, who are recording reminiscences of WWII veterans and holocaust survivors while they still can. No adults involved.

I just heard one of the veterans recalling his experiences on Iwo Jima. (Today is the anniversary). Very touching.
TimL – that is a wonderful group – and 14-15 years old. I just wish that they had posted some of the interviews to their site.
