The Proper Use …

… for that pocket on the front of a cooking apron?

It’s to hold the kitten, who wants to watch the Christmas-Gift-For-The-Neighbors-Gourmet-Fudge being made.

That’s all.

  1. The apron was originally a Chinese invention, the pocket was used to hold the entrée meat so the cook did not have to prepare small amounts all the time. Good to see that tradition alive and well!

  2. Years ago I had a co-worker who, whenever she would call me or vice-versa, the first five minutes of the conversation would begin with, “how’s your cat?” This went on for years. Our own striped demon sleeps in his favorite chair as I type.
