Worth reading as usual.
Some Chicago Boyz know each other from student days at the University of Chicago. Others are Chicago boys in spirit. The blog name is also intended as a good-humored gesture of admiration for distinguished Chicago School economists and fellow travelers.

Good list.
I suppose he thought it was too obvious to include but replacing an obviously senile and historically unpopular candidate with an obviously stupid and even more unpopular one might have had something to do with it.
What MCS said.
Second to MCS’ comment.
I think a couple of things have been amazing in this election, not the least of Trump’s overcoming virtually everything but the kitchen sink thrown at him. That legal warfare would have incapacitated most of us, but he had the focus (and equally important, the financial resources) to prevail. Most of those even with the financial resources would have abandoned their Presidential run.
The most amazing thing is that millions of people just shrugged this off and voted for him. It is as if we have all been inoculated against all of the lies.
A couple of interesting interviews with him (and revealing to me in that this is the Trump that the Legacy media has been smearing for 8 years) – one is the Joe Rogan interview and the other Tyrus, both on YouTube.
More to the point is what happens when the Democrats manage to nominate candidates more appealing than three day old road kill? The fact that the Republican majority in the House was just able to survive and the majority in the Senate is razor thin gives the answer, just not one that I like.

What that shows is that we voters are able to recognize that the institutional “Republican Party” is very different from President-Elect Trump. He wants to restore America — they want to enrich themselves and earn plaudits from the Far Left media. Just watch — the Institutional Republicrats will spend the next 4 years trying to stick knives in President Trump’s back.
Many of us despise the “Republican Party” — for very good reasons! If the Republicrats were smart, they would change.
