Some Chicago Boyz know each other from student days at the University of Chicago. Others are Chicago boys in spirit. The blog name is also intended as a good-humored gesture of admiration for distinguished Chicago School economists and fellow travelers.
That looks a lot better than our frozen river here in Chicago
Cool photo.

It was cold here too, but global warming melted the ice and killed all the polar bears, I swear.
killed polar bears?
poor darlings!
the towers look empty, blind. are those residential condos or offices?
Is that yet another picture from the Miami area?
Are the colors what the naked eye would see, or an artifact of photography?
What was the camera, lens, and settings?
-Mostly residential. It was early morning with many lights off. Also, occupancy in some of these buildings may be < 100%. -Miami, looking toward East from 3rd Ave. bridge. -Colors are more or less what you would see, though a bit warmer in the picture because I liked it that way. 15 sec exposure, dslr, wide lens.
The colors on the water! Wow.
