I’m a fan of daffodils. When I see my grandfather’s daffodils bloom in his front yard in March, I know that spring is truly here in North Texas and breathe a sigh of relief..

The whole frozen wasteland of February ahead of us.
But we are about halfway done with it.
Six weeks or so and it gets tolerable.
Then some green.
Then the flowers.
I think we Midwesterners and others who live in cold climates appreciate those first warm days of Spring so much more than people who live in California for example, who have it in the 70s year around. But for today and tomorrow, snowpocalypse.
