Some Chicago Boyz know each other from student days at the University of Chicago. Others are Chicago boys in spirit. The blog name is also intended as a good-humored gesture of admiration for distinguished Chicago School economists and fellow travelers.

Yep – all the publicity so the next on-the-edge fruitcake will want to have his 15 minutes of fame.
My personal peeve: In giving a death toll if the murderer is shot/killed he is included in the count.
With a free media, the people get the news coverage they deserve.
