Likewise. I will have a happy New Years Day because I am staying home tonight.
For years I used to rent a motorhome and park in the Rose Bowl parking lot for New Years Eve. That was in the days when USC went to the Rose Bowl most years. There were thousands of motor homes there that night. We would all walk over and look at the Rose Parade floats about midnight, then have breakfast with gin fizzes in the morning. We would watch the Cotton Bowl game in the morning, then walk in to the Rose Bowl for the game, then watch the Orange Bowl later. We would get home about midnight.
My 12:00 was uneventful – sitting at home too. My most memorable New Years Day – back in the 50s I sat in the 2nd or 3rd story, legs hanging out watching the Rose Parade
Sounds like you had a good time with the Motor Home, Dr Kennedy…
