Some Chicago Boyz know each other from student days at the University of Chicago. Others are Chicago boys in spirit. The blog name is also intended as a good-humored gesture of admiration for distinguished Chicago School economists and fellow travelers.

I don’t like Donald. But I loathe, despise, and fear Hellary.
At least there might be time to change the path of the nomination process.
What discerning animals. All our dogs do is sleep through debates and the news. Now Animal Plant is another story.

Well, we know Romney doesn’t but some interesting people are striking back.
Mitt Romney has lashed out at The Donald for being a “phony and fraud”, but consider this. During his 16-years at Bain Capital, fully one-fourth or $600 million of the firms cumulative $2.5 billion of profits were scalped from companies which went bankrupt soon after Mitt and his partners got out of town with the loot.
I liked Mitt and voted for him but he made a catastrophic mistake when he attacked Trump about taxes and bankruptcies.
Also, some people across the pond are recognizing what is happening.
But is the Republican party really theirs any more? Or is it undergoing the sort of change the Tory party underwent in the Eighties, when Mrs Thatcher attracted vast numbers with no heritage of voting Conservative? It smells like that.
