Some Chicago Boyz know each other from student days at the University of Chicago. Others are Chicago boys in spirit. The blog name is also intended as a good-humored gesture of admiration for distinguished Chicago School economists and fellow travelers.

I think it is “Gimme a treat” – I see that expression often with my dog!
It’s the cats who have computer priviliges … this is the ‘Treatsie? Yes? Now, please?’ look.
My dog used to give this look. It meant “Please give me that piece of cheese” or “I would really like to have an ice cube”.
